General Covid-19 Information for Classes:
These policies are subject to change at any time as public health concerns are ongoing and the situation continues to develop.
PLEASE NOTE: Even if you/your child tests negative for Covid,
***A STUDENT EXPERIENCING SYMPTOMS OF ILLNESS OF ANY KIND MAY NOT RETURN TO CLASS UNTIL SYMPTOMS RESOLVE.***
It is mandatory that all students wash hands and use hand sanitizer at the beginning and end of class as they will be using shared equipment during classes. Sanitizer will also be available for use between turns at your convenience. For Lyra & Trapeze classes, we will have lysol wipes handy if a student is more comfortable wiping down the equipment between uses. Per the CDC, transmission via surfaces is very low. Please see this link for reference regarding surface transmission.
- We highly suggest bringing a water bottle large enough to last for the entire duration of your class. We will not be using water fountains, however, we will have emergency water bottles available for $1.
- Please only bring keys, phone, and water bottle inside of the school; leave extras in the car or at home.
- We may keep garage doors partially open for ventilation to reduce the risk of viral spread. Dress in layers, the temperature varies significantly.
- To respect your medical privacy, we are enforcing the same CDC-recommended guidelines regarding exposure, illness, and quarantine for everyone, regardless of vaccination status. Students MAY NOT attend class if they have had a close contact Covid exposure within 5 days of their class, have tested positive for Covid, or are experiencing symptoms of illness of any kind. (Please see details below.)
Mask Policy:
- While masks are now optional (see exceptions for exposure/illness below), they remain strongly recommended, and some coaches may require masks for their classes. Masks are also required for duo work, so please be sure to bring a mask just in case.
- We reserve the right to return to mandatory masking at any time, and will not offer refunds for those who refuse to wear a mask when required.
- Only wear masks with ear loops and not those that need to be tied or wrapped.
- We do have extra surgical masks onsite, and if a student is coughing, sneezing, or congested, even if due to allergies, they will be asked to wear a mask out of consideration for others in the space.
If you are exposed/test positive/show symptoms, etc…
- If you test positive for Covid and/or are showing symptoms: you may not return to class until 5 full days from the onset of symptoms/your positive test (test day/first day of symptoms is day 0). Thereafter, you must wear a mask at all times while in CP for at least five days after returning to class.
- If someone in your household tests positive for Covid and/or is showing symptoms: we ask that you stay home for 5 days and test before returning to class. You must also wear a mask for at least 5 days thereafter.
- If you have known close contact with someone outside your household who has symptoms or tested positive for Covid: you must wear a mask at all times while in CP for five days, then test.
Check In Procedures:
